Dr. Ronald Jackson

Dr. Ronald Jackson completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1968 and graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1972.

After a one-year general practice residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, he served three years with the U.S. Navy at the Naval Headquarters for Europe in London, England.

Dr. Jackson is a recognized authority on adhesive esthetic dentistry and was instrumental in the development of the clinical techniques for esthetic inlays and onlays. He has published over 60 articles on adhesive dentistry and management of the successful esthetic practice. He authored a chapter in the book Current Opinion in Cosmetic Dentistry and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry, Signature, Practical Procedures and Aesthetic Dentistry, the Journal of Contemporary Dental Practice and is member of the Esthetic Dentistry Research Group, publishers of Reality and Reality Now. Dr. Jackson presents over forty lectures per year to dentists all across the U.S., Canada and abroad. He has presented at all three national organizations for esthetic/cosmetic dentistry, namely, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and The American Society for Dental Aesthetics. He has also lectured to Esthetic Academies in Europe, Asia and South America. Dr. Jackson has presented to many state dental associations as well as at major U.S. conferences including the Hinman, Greater New York, Boston Yankee, Chicago Midwinter and American Dental Association annual meetings.

Dr. Jackson is an accredited member and fellow in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an alumnus of the L.D. Pankey Institute, and a fellow in the American College of Dentists. He is Director of the Advanced Adhesive Aesthetic Dentistry and Anterior Direct Resin programs at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Jackson developed a popular temporary material as well as instruments, which bear his name. Both are ranked highly by an independent dental products evaluation group and sold globally. He is a consultant to a number of dental manufacturers in the area of new product development and clinical testing of materials.

Dr. Jackson maintains a private practice in Middleburg, Virginia emphasizing comprehensive esthetic and restorative dentistry.
