FACULTY

Dr. Sascha A. Jovanovic is considered a global expert in Implant Dentistry and one of the founders of Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) and Esthetic Implant Surgery with over 80 scientific publications. He is Academic Chair of the gIDE Institute, Past-President of the EAO, Past-Co-Director of the UCLA Dental Implant Center, honorary member and award recipient of several global academic organizations and editorial boards for scientific journals.
He was first trained in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda Univ; then in Prosthodontics at Univ of Aachen, Germany; then in Periodontics at UCLA School of Dentistry; and holds a Master of Sciences Degree in Oral Biology from UCLA.
Dr. Jovanovic’s clinical practice and research emphasizes advanced implant dentistry, tissue regeneration and esthetic implant management.

Dr. Francesco Mintrone began his career as a dental technician and in particular, as a ceramist. Following his Degree in Dentistry with a prize at the University of Modena, Italy, he began to improve his knowledge in prosthetic dentistry and implant surgery. He is an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and has his own dental practice, specializing in Prosthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry. Dr. Mintrone is an award-winning published clinician. He is invited to lecture globally due to his recognized expertise.

Dr. Homa Zadeh is a renowned periodontist and professor with expertise in periodontology and oral implantology. Dr. Zadeh has contributed extensively to clinical research, particularly in the areas of minimally invasive periodontal surgery, tissue regeneration, and implant therapy.He is the founder and director of the Center for Minimally Invasive Esthetics, where he trains dental professionals worldwide in advanced surgical techniques. As a respected educator and speaker, Dr. Zadeh is widely recognized for his work integrating science with clinical practice to improve patient outcomes in periodontal and implant care.

Dr. Dennis Tarnow is a world-renowned expert in implant dentistry and prosthodontics. He is the Director of Implant Education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tarnow is internationally recognized for his pioneering work in dental implants, aesthetic dentistry, and interdisciplinary treatment planning. He has published extensively, lectured in over 45 countries, and received numerous awards for his contributions to dental education and clinical excellence. His work continues to shape the standards and protocols used in modern implant and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Jaime L. Lozada, DDS is an esteemed prosthodontist and implant dentistry specialist based in Loma Linda, California. He serves as Professor and Program Director of the Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he’s been teaching and mentoring graduate students and fellows for over three decades. With a prolific record of scholarly activity—over 150 academic publications and numerous textbook chapters—Dr. Lozada has made a lasting impact in the fields of sinus augmentation, guided implant placement, and guided bone regeneration

Yusuke Hamada DDS, MSD graduated from Kyushu Dental University, obtained DDS. He completed his periodontal program at Indiana University School of Dentistry and received MSD and certificate of Periodontics. He served as a clinical assistant professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry for pre- and post-graduate levels. In addition, he was a program director at Advanced Education of Graduate Periodontics at Indiana University.

Dr. Andrea Ravidà is the Director of the Graduate Periodontics Program at the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his specialty training at the University of Michigan and earned a PhD from the University of Granada. Previously a full-time faculty member at Michigan, he now teaches implant and periodontal therapy to residents and conducts clinical research on peri-implantitis, periodontitis, and short implants. Dr. Ravidà has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers, serves as section editor for two journals, and is on editorial boards for several others. He has received multiple awards from the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr José Carlos da Rosa graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in 1988 and pursued a specialization in Periodontics at the Associação Paulista dos Cirurgiões-Dentistas (APCD) in 1991. In 2005, he completed a specialization and a Master of Science in Prosthesis at CPO SLMandic in Campinas, SP, Brazil, and earned his PhD in Implantology from the same institution in 2014. Known for developing the Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration (IDR) technique, he authored the book Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration – Immediately Loaded Implants in Compromised Sockets, published by Quintessence Publishing. He has published over 30 articles and book chapters on IDR, serves on the editorial board of several journals, and has spoken at congresses in over 60 countries. He also runs a private practice in Caxias do Sul, RS, Brazil

Dr. Kyle Stanley is a pioneering figure in dentistry, recognized as “The Next Generation of Cosmetic Dentistry” by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and listed among the “World’s Top 100 Doctors in Dentistry.” A USC graduate, he furthered his expertise with advanced training in dental implants in Brazil. Dr. Stanley is a prolific researcher with publications on esthetics, implants, mental health, and plastic surgery. He co-founded Pearl, a $450M company that revolutionizes patient care with AI technology, and advises dental tech companies. An advocate for mental health, his Light Side Academy helps dentists combat burnout. Dr. Stanley is also a sought-after speaker, sharing his vision for the future of dentistry globally.s.

Dr. Miles Madison DDS attended UCLA School of Dentistry where he again graduated with top honors and was the recipient of numerous academic awards. Dr. Madison specialized in Periodontology at UCSF (University of California at San Francisco) where he became one of the youngest graduating periodontists in the United States. Dr. Madison is board certified in I.V. sedation and hypnosis. He lectures nationally and is the recipient of numerous honors and awards throughout his career. He is a Visiting Lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry, on the California Board of Dental Examiners General Anesthesia, and a Conscious Sedation Evaluator.

Dr. Ryuhei Yamanaka graduated from Showa University in 2000 and worked at Showa University Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. In 2003, he studied at UCLA School of Dentistry and worked with Dr. Sascha Jovanovic as a surgical assistant doctor. In 2011, he opened Yamanaka Dental Clinic and currently working as the Director of the Clinic. He is a member of the Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Japanese Stomatological Society and the Member of Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Getoar Hoxha, DDS, gMCP, is an oral surgeon and implantologist specializing in implant dentistry, guided bone regeneration, sinus augmentation, and full-arch rehabilitation. He graduated from the gIDE Master Clinician Program with Top Honors, earning first place as Global Master Clinician. Dr. Hoxha currently serves as a gIDE mentor and is the co-founder of Esthetic Dental Studio, Endodontic Dental Studio, and the EDS Institute in Kosovo, where he combines advanced clinical care with education and mentorship.

Dr. Yusef Khadembashi, DDS, is a general and implant dentist focused on implant surgery, implant prosthetics, aesthetic restorative dentistry, and full-mouth reconstruction. He completed the Master Clinician Program in Oral Implantology at the gIDE Institute with Highest Honors and has pursued advanced training through the Kois Center, Dawson Academy, and ORCAA. Dr. Khadembashi is the founder of Elevation Dental in British Columbia and teaches and mentors dentists through continuing education programs in Los Angeles and internationally.

Dr. Mamaly Reshad, DDS, MSc, is an internationally respected prosthodontist with more than 30 years of experience in cosmetic, implant, and reconstructive dentistry. He earned his DDS from King’s College London, a master’s degree with distinction from the Eastman Dental Institute, and advanced prosthodontic training at USC. A former Chairman of Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at USC, Dr. Reshad is a published author, educator, and gIDE faculty member who also leads an international mentorship program in complex restorative care.

Dr. Joseph Kan received DDS from Loma Loma University School of Dentistry (LLUSD), California, USA, and then completed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry with MS. He is currently Professor and teaches at Advanced Education Program for Implant Dentistry and Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at LLU. He also maintains a private practice. Besides lecturing nationally and internationally, Dr. Kan has published over 100 referenced articles and book chapters on interdisciplinary treatment planning, periodontal peri-implant tissue management, and immediate tooth replacement concepts.

Dr. Tony (Xiaowen) Zhang, DDS, is the co-founder of Blue3D Dental Lab, a fully digital dental laboratory in California dedicated exclusively to full-arch implant restorations. Working with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, prosthodontists and implant-focused practices across the US, the laboratory takes each case from digital treatment planning and surgical guides through immediate provisionals and the definitive prosthesis.

Dr. Zhang earned his DDS in Argentina and completed the Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry Specialist Program at USAL/AOA in Buenos Aires. In 2017 he organized and completed the Buenos Aires edition of the gIDE Master Clinician Program with Dr. Sascha Jovanovic. He organizes and teaches continuing education programs and study clubs for clinicians. His current work focuses on evidence-based digital protocols for full-arch rehabilitation and the integration of AI tools into laboratory workflow.

The cancellation fee is $750 up to forty-five (45) days prior to each program. After that date, there will be no refunds. Registrations received during sales are non-refundable. gIDE may cancel scheduled courses up to thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled start of the course if certain attendance minimums are not met. gIDE is not responsible for reimbursing prepaid (including non-refundable) customer travel costs. It is recommended that customers who elect to incur travel costs for a training course, schedule and purchase airfare and hotel accommodations with this in mind. gIDE can elect to cancel or postpone scheduled courses due to the health risks associated with the current pandemic and cannot be held responsible for reimbursing prepaid (including non-refundable) customer travel costs.

MASTER CLINICIAN PROGRAM CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Initial deposit is non-refundable.
Initial deposit and 1st installment payment are non-refundable after Session I.
All payments received prior to Session III are non-refundable regardless of participation during sessions III and IV.
In special circumstances course completion postponement may be approved by gIDE. In such cases, fees may be applied. Refund policy is applied based on date of first enrollment.

Dates and location are subject to change.

If a course is canceled, rescheduled, or disrupted due to Force Majeure, gIDE will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative learning options. However, if rescheduling or alternative arrangements are not feasible, the course may be canceled entirely. Due to the nature of Force Majeure events, gIDE will not be held responsible for issuing refunds in cases of course cancellations or disruptions caused by such events. Participants are encouraged to consider adding flex-traveler protection when making travel arrangements for any courses in general.

SOCIAL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

Social activities for the program sessions will be finalized once we are on site. The specific activities will be determined based on the time available and the collective preferences of attendees. In past sessions, typical social events have included group dinners, cocktail hours, city walks, and sports activities. We look forward to creating a dynamic program that offers something enjoyable for everyone, and we encourage you to share any preferences or suggestions you may have during the event.
